Project:- Trial the delivery for a cost-effective private networking solution offering to companies in multiple locations.

Phase 1:- Established between November 1995 and January 1996. Three points of presence based in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Links - Optus Datalink. This provided the base for a national backbone.

Phase 2:- Establish International Circuit from Sydney to MCI in San Francisco to provide full Internet services to end users Allow access on a casual or permanent basis. Invite Users including Internet Service Providers, Corporate and Government organisations as well as a few domestic end users.
