Professional Overview

• I have an aptitude for developing, implementing and overseeing large scale projects both at a directorial level and as a worker.
• The projects I have been involved with cover a variety of fields from technology-based ventures through to community-based fundraising ventures.
• Such projects require a large number of skills and abilities ranging from high level management skills through to representational/liaison skills.
• The following examples briefly demonstrate the wealth of expertise I have in each of these areas as well as the exceptional knowledge base and experience I am able to bring to each project.

Current Activity

Currently a Director of two Companies and
Technical consultant to several corporates.

Currently I'm in a position of variety.  I am a director of two companies, one dealing with Retail and the other with Research and Development (Technology and Management.)

This mix is allowing me a varity of activities.   Skills being used include: Marketing, Copyrighter, Software Development, Graphic Art, Photography, Videography, Film and TV Production, Directing (Theatrical/Advertising), Script Consultant, Technology Consultant, (Internet) Network Design, ISP Administration, Business Development, Web Site Development ... and more!

I am also part of a sponsored project called the Australian Parent Support Network.

Last Company

Director/Shareholder July 1995 - July 12 1996

The Company was piloting a high performance Internet and IP network service in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. The pilot project staff was made up of one full time administration, three full time technical and one full time sales.

As the Technical Director I was required to work closely with Optus, Cisco in Australia and other organisations such as MCI to design and implement the project.

Upon completion of the pilot project further funding and administrative support was not available. The project was unaminously suspended due to investor commitments and suitable funding not being met.

2nd Last Company

Contract July 1994 - July 1995

I was appointed to design and implement a software platform for the a "Network" communications system. This was based on Frontdoor V2 as specified by the company's previous director.

Part of my role included presenting proposals for the development of a more reliable and cost-effective platform for clients. This was based on Internet-like services. eg. Clients would be able to dial into a pool of modems attached to an 1800 number.

The company was already operating an internal Internet network based on TCP/IP with company offices in all capital cities maintaining semi-permanent ISDN between most locations, my proposal suggested these resources could be better utilised by the company for voice and data making the resource a revenue offset rather than a cost centre.

I resigned from the Company in June 1995.
